As a ministry we recognize that our missional practices and engagement efforts are only discovered and shaped when we join and partner with God who is always working and who alone is the agent of true transformation.
There is no room for excuses because our God is already present and acting in the ordinary, in the everyday realities of people’s lives, in the neighborhoods where we live and work.
Everyday people are crying out. How can we as God’s people learn to discern and hear these cries and the actions we need to incorporate as a response?
Indeed, we can only be able to hear and respond rightly when we partner with God who is already ahead – dwelling, acting in ordinary, concrete, everyday places. These places are where we can work out the practices of being a missional people.
The practices we incorporate are shaped and refined as we engage with this profound human question of:
How do we reweave the fabric of spiritual, social and communal life encounters in an environment where the markers of human flourishing are being ripped asunder?
Our only response is to join the triune God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit), out there, in the everyday materiality of people’s brokenness, pain and disillusionment. It is in these places that so many are wondering how to keep themselves and their families together, how their communities will hold, and if there can be even a bright future for their children.
There is no other way that we can comprehend the agency of the triune God apart from availing ourselves to be the conduits through which his kingdom can be expressed.
